The Best Luxe All-inclusive Resort in Cancun: Le Blanc

Le Blanc Cancun luxury all-inclusive

There are plenty of all-inclusive resorts to choose from in Cancun, but if you want a shortcut to choosing the very best one, head straight to the long-time leader: Le Blanc Spa Resort. It’s right on the main strip, but on a whole different plane than the usual vacation factories along this beach.

Imagine a true luxury hotel with excellent restaurants, some of the best rooms in a major resort area, and bars with all the top-shelf liquor you’d see in a good cocktail lounge. Now imagine that your room rate gives you free reign of it all, including 24-hour room service.

The pampering starts upon arrival in the sleek white-on-white lobby with billowing curtains and sit-down check-in desks. A cool towel greets you as you step into the tropical heat and a welcome drink materializes while a bellhop tags your bags. This spacious lobby has a variety of sitting areas and a hip lobby bar and lounge looking out at the water.

The rooms—mostly junior suites with a whirlpool somewhere—are not just a place to sleep between bouts of bopping around the swimming pools, restaurants, and beach bars. They’re some of the best-equipped you’ll find on the Caribbean coast of Mexico, with four full bottles of name-brand liquor (including excellent Centenario tequila and Johnny Walker Scotch), an array of Bvlgari toiletries, and flat-screen TVs come with Apple TV, DVD player, and Netflix.

That’s just the start though. The expected fluffy robes and comfortable mattress are joined by a pillow menu, aromatherapy menu, complimentary minibars, and nightly turndown service. The nice arrival amenities include a bottle of wine, delicious sweets, and a beach bag to use and keep. A TV embedded in the bathroom mirror is joined by complimentary Wi-Fi.

Le Blanc Honeymoon Suite

The smallest quarters here at Le Blanc are 412 square feet but feel much bigger thanks to a smart layout with a step-down sitting area and a whirlpool for two facing the sea. The Royale Governor’s Suites double the amount of space and have a corner wraparound balcony. The five Presidential Suites take up the whole top floor of the resort and have a dining room, full living room, office, wet bar, and large balcony. See the full array of options here.

This being a sprawling Cancun beach resort, naturally there are plenty of places to lounge around. As you can see from the top photo (a view from a room), there’s a nice stretch of beach here with serviced lounge chairs and a huge infinity pool looking out at the ocean. There’s a swim-up bar there and waiters make the rounds bringing drinks and food.

Since Le Blanc is an adults-only resort, no tykes will be doing cannonballs or tossing a Nerf football while you’re trying to catch a nap or read a book.

Going along with the upscale theme, only the main restaurant here serves buffet meals. All the others are a la carte sit-down spots. One serves Italian, one Asian, and then the full-blown gourmet spot Lumiere serves French fusion cuisine. Taste and presentation are far beyond what you’d expect from an all-inclusive resort, even during the buffet meals and that restaurant has a panoramic water view.

The fitness center here is large and well-equipped, with regular classes running for yoga, Pilates, and aerobics. The large, well-regarded spa is the one thing not included in the room rates here. If you’re willing to pony up a bit more for some extra pampering, there’s a long menu of choices including hydrotherapy and Vichy.

If you really want to take advantage of the “spa” part of Le Blanc Spa Resort’s name, check the resort’s spa page. You can also check prices online at  Hotels.com. This is clearly marketed as a Cancun hotel for those who are not in the middle of the Cancun pack financially: low season rates start at $320 per person and can easily vault past four digits for a couple in peak season.

For a resort that’s both a AAA 5-diamond award winner and one of the top-ranked all-inclusives in the world on TripAdvisor, if you’ve got the budget it’ll be worth it.
