Booking a stay in an airport hotel is typically all about convenience. But being close to the airport is just one of many perks at the Hilton Munich Airport. With amenities ranging from a spa with indoor pool and hot tub, to putt-putt golf, ping pong, and a foosball table, you might find yourself wishing for more time at the airport.
Located between terminal one and two at the Munich Airport, you can walk from your plane to your hotel room in less time than it typically takes to clear airport security. Glass plays prominently in the property’s design, flooding the hotel with ample natural light everywhere you go. The striking atrium is home to a restaurant and bar, surrounded by a cluster of preserved, towering palm trees from Miami.
Hilton Munich Airport features 551 rooms, but because they are spread between three wings, the property doesn’t feel quite so big. Each wing is accessed by its own elevators, making finding your way around less complicated. All rooms in the North Wing have what’s referred to by the hotel as Mountain Hub décor. Modern in feel, the design is inspired by the property’s proximity to the airport along with its mountainous Bavarian location. Room categories available include: Executive Rooms, King Deluxe Rooms, and Twin Deluxe Rooms.
Natural wood and dark leather accents are found throughout North Wing rooms. Lighting is operated with the touch of a button via keypads located throughout the room. A round table does double duty as a desk or comfortable spot to eat a meal.
Bathrooms in Executive King Rooms boast a large soaking tub and separate walk-in shower with both a rainfall and handheld shower head. Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries are provided. Bathrooms in all room categories in the North Wing also feature heated floors, a rarity at airport hotels.
