The largest city on the Mendocino coast, Fort Bragg is home to a number of popular Northern California attractions. From the colorful Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, to the historical Skunk Train, there’s plenty to keep you busy during a getaway here. Located at the southern end of Fort Bragg, Noyo Harbor Inn overlooks the city’s working port where the Noyo River and the Pacific Ocean meet.
Noyo Harbor Inn offers 18 rooms spread between two buildings. Rooms one through eight are located in the Main Inn overlooking Noyo Harbor. Pacific View Rooms, 10 through 18, face the Noyo Bridge with the Pacific Ocean in the distance.
Room 10 is a Queen Tub room. Along with a queen bed, there’s a gas fireplace that comes to life with the flip of a switch, and flat screen television. A small living area with sleeper sofa, is located a couple steps down from the bed. A small balcony with two chairs looks out toward the working harbor.
The bathroom is split into two areas. A small vanity with one sink, and huge bathtub is located steps from the bed. A door provides privacy and separates the toilet and a small shower from the rest of the bathroom. Toiletries are provided in large, refillable bottles.
Along with a small refrigerator, an electric tea kettle and French press coffee is available in all guest rooms.
The onsite restaurant is open daily from 8am to 2pm for breakfast, brunch and lunch, and from 5pm to 9pm for dinner. The deck boasts photo-worthy views of the Noyo river and busy boat docks. There might even be some sea lions lounging about and making a ruckus. For those in the mood to explore, there are a number of eateries located along the harbor, and a short drive away on Highway 1.
The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens are less than two miles south of Noyo Harbor Inn. The Skunk Train is about the same distance to the north. The closest airport, the Charles M. Schulz, Sonoma County Airport, is a two-plus hour drive.
The front desk is staffed from 6am to 9pm. A limited number of cribs are available first come, first served for $15 per night.
