San Jose, in the heart of California’s Silicon Valley, is a hub of business and technology. Whether you’re in San Jose for business or pleasure, the Hilton Hotel San Jose has everything you need for a successful visit.
Convenient location
The Hilton San Jose’s downtown location means it’s within walking distance of several local attractions. The Center for the Performing Arts, The Tech Center, The California Theater, as well as various restaurants and sporting arenas, are all nearby. In addition, the hotel is conveniently located for several parks, one of which boasts the largest Monopoly board in the world.
The atmosphere
In a place like San Jose, it’s nearly impossible to find a hotel that will be completely free of the noise, hustle, and bustle of any big city. Nearby San Jose International Airport is a noise factor, but for the most part the rooms are well insulated and provide an escape from busy city life. Look out the window and you’ll see the rolling hills of San Jose in the distance. The windows can actually be opened, but are still childproof.
Amenities
A standard room at the Hilton San Jose includes a coffee maker and fridge, as well as down pillows and 250-thread count sheets. In the bathroom, you’ll find PeterThomasRoth products, as well as a hairdryer. While many hotels suffer from low water pressure shower heads, the Hilton San Jose’s water pressure is excellent.
The Hilton San Jose has a gym, Jacuzzi, and small heated outdoor swimming pool if you want to fit in a workout during your stay. If you choose not to venture out to one of the local restaurants, the hotel also features a full restaurant and bar.
There is parking available at the Hilton San Jose, but it’s a little on the pricey side- $21 a day, with unlimited in and out privileges.
Stay connected
While in-room Internet will cost you $9.95 a day, there is complimentary Wi-Fi in the lobby and on the second floor.
Pets welcome!
If you’re worried about what to do with your four-legged companions, don’t worry. The Hilton Hotel San Jose is pet-friendly, for a one-time $50 fee. Although officially there is a 75-pound weight limit on pets, bigger dogs are welcome, too.
