Driving up the pathway to the Four Seasons Lāna’i Lodge at Ko’ele lined with Cook Island Pines will have your jaw dropping before you even step foot inside. The country setting of the Lodge has hints of Hawaiian pineapple agriculture and gives off a very elegant but welcoming ambience. There are acres of rolling hills, an orchid house, mango, avocado, macadamia nut and eucalyptus trees. Maintaining even more culture, the Lodge also has a Japanese garden complimented by a pagoda and reflecting pond filled with koi fish.
The Four Seasons Lāna’i Lodge at Ko’ele is split into two different wings, a South Wing and a North Wing with the Great Hall joining the two in the middle. If you happen to be celebrating a special occasion such as a wedding anniversary the Great Hall Premiere Fireplace room is the place to be. Located on the second floor, the Great Hall room features a living space that is large enough to hold a sitting area, fireplace and workstation. The bathroom is complete with marble finish, a bath and shower. If the large king bed isn’t cozy enough, the spacious balcony will have you drinking your morning cup of coffee overlooking the croquet area of the Lodge lawn. Every room includes housekeeping twice a day as well as a safe, coffee maker, a DVD player and L’Occitane bath amenities.
If the landscaping and luxurious feel of the Lodge isn’t enough to keep you at the resort, there are plenty of other activities to entertain. The Lodge has an outdoor swimming pool, two hot tubs, a fitness center, lawn bowling, golf and croquet. If you would prefer to explore the island or take advantage of the inner-hotel transportation to visit another hotel, your journey is right around the corner. Take an UTV (4-wheel Utility Terrain Vehicle), SUV or even ride horseback with some Hawaiian Cowboys to truly experience the island.
After a long day exploring Lanai, the best way to settle down is with a comforting meal at the Terrace restaurant. Start off your meal with the Maui Onion soup topped with Gruyere cheese followed by some Hawaiian snapper, crispy artichoke, fennel and lobster risotto. For a finishing touch, the Chocolate Dream Bar is truly a dream. This dessert is a bar layered chocolate mousse mixed with marshmallows and topped with candied peanuts, vanilla ice cream and salty caramel sauce.
Not only does the Four Seasons Lāna’i Lodge at Ko’ele hold itself at a high level of comfort, aesthetic and customer service, they also offer complimentary daily resort amenities. Internet service, daily arts and crafts, exhibits, morning tea and coffee, valet parking, live entertainment, toys for kids and a 24-hour business center are only some of the free perks at the Lodge at Ko’ele.
The Hawaiian island of Lanai is a beautiful place to relax and kick back on vacation and the luxurious Lodge at Ko’ele only enhances the magical moments.
