Stay Right at Orlando International Airport at the Hyatt Regency

Hyatt airport Pool

If you are traveling to Orlando, and will be spending any time at Orlando International Airport, the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport is a great option for a day or overnight stay. Located right in the airport lobby, the hotel offers conference facilities, an outdoor pool, a gym, several restaurants, and a business center. We recently stayed overnight before our Disney cruise the next morning, and will definitely return.

After arriving on our flight from Boston to Orlando, it was so convenient to just check in to the hotel after retrieving our bags. Within twenty minutes of departing our aircraft, we were already in our room! Disney Cruise Line guests who booked transfers to the port can sign up for free luggage retrieval service. Guests can just leave their bags in their room when they depart.  I was initially nervous about this, but bell services arrived for the luggage before we’d even checked out. The next time we saw it was in by our stateroom on the ship.

Orlando Hyatt Airport

Our room at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport had two double beds and was larger than a standard hotel room. We had a huge balcony overlooking the highway, but it was too cold in the winter to enjoy it.  The beds in our room were extremely comfortable, and the room comes with some wonderful amenities including an iHome iPhone clock radio, complimentary WiFi, room service, and a deluxe marble bathroom.

Despite the location in the busy Orlando International Airport, our room was completely silent thanks to excellent sound proofing. I’ve never been in a hotel room that was so quiet. Like many other Hyatt hotels, complimentary toiletries can be brought to you if you forget something at home. We forgot toothpaste and a free replacement was delivered to us in just a few minutes.

The Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport also offers day use rooms, which are available from 10am-6pm daily. It’s a great option if you end up with a long flight delay or layover.  If circumstances change and you need to extend through the night, the day room rate can be applied to a full night stay.  Day use guests have full use of all facilities, including the gym and outdoor pool. These rooms can be booked as walk-ups, so in most cases you won’t need a reservation.

Rates at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport start at about $200-$300, but you can often get special rates by searching online. To learn more, visit their website. You can also compare prices at Hotels.com.
