Two haunted hotels that offer ghost tours year-round

Although Halloween is prime time for haunted hotel travel, spooky tales and tours are a year-round venture at the Admiral Fell Inn in Baltimore, Maryland and the Crescent Hotel and Spa in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  Both are historic hotels that offer elegance along with a unique past–including the ghosts.

The Admiral Fell Inn on Baltimore’s waterfront offers ghost tours year-round

The stately  Admiral Fell Inn on Baltimore’s waterfront highlights its haunted history each Friday and Saturday evening. The inn’s Historic Ghost Tour is family-friendly and includes the inn’s seven buildings. Along the way, a resident historian tells about the inn’s legends and ghost sightings.  Considering the hotel’s various roles, including a ship chandlery and boarding house for sailors, the tour is a glimpse into Baltimore’s maritime presence.

If you go, stop in the Horse You Came In On Saloon. Just steps away from the Admiral Fell Inn, this saloon is the oldest saloon in the United States and possibly the last place Edgar Allen Poe was seen alive. Some say his ghost still frequents the tavern.

Rooms at the Admiral Fell Inn are unique to each other and range from a Double Bed Room to a King Bed Suite with a Jacuzzi. An overnight stay also includes complimentary tea, coffee, and muffins each morning, plus the Admiral’s Reception, ghost tour activities, and access to the fitness center and pool. Rooms range from $179 to $320 depending on the room and the package.
